April 22, 2024: FBCCI President Mr. Mahbubul Alam attended a business discussion meeting with the visiting Minister of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar, H.E. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Al-Thani on April 23, 2024, at a city hotel in Dhaka.

Mr. Mahbubul Alam emphasized the importance of enhancing robust business ties between Bangladesh and Qatar. The meeting provided a platform for fruitful discussions on strengthening bilateral trade and investment opportunities between the two nations.

Hon'ble Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Salman F Rahman, Hon'ble State Minister for Commerce Mr. Ahasanul Islam Titu, ambassador of the State of Qatar to Bangladesh HH Mr. Saree bin Ali Al Qahtani were present at the meeting.

They had a fruitful discussion investment opportunity, areas of mutual interest, strengthening economic cooperation, promote investments, and facilitate trade between Bangladesh and Qatar.

Business leaders and higher government officials of Bangladesh and Qatar were also present at the meeting.
