A high-level meeting between the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) and the International Labour Organization (ILO) was held on 13 September 2026 at FBCCI to discuss potential areas of collaboration to strengthen occupational safety, skills development, sustainable enterprises, productivity and resilience in Bangladesh’s private sector.

The meeting was attended by FBCCI Administrator Mr. Md. Fazlul Hoque and ILO Country Director Mr. Max Tunon, along with Mr. Ronald Francis Johnson and Mr. Md. Satil Mahmud from ILO, Mr. Md. Alamgir, Secretary General of FBCCI, Mr. Shah Md. Abdul Khaleque, Senior Additional Secretary General of FBCCI, Mr. Md. Monjur Kader Khan, Program Coordinator, FBCCI Safety Council.
